It didn't really come as a surprise, since we have already heard about their plans to quit all business with Russia from their representatives in Washington.

Even though SBI is no longer in Russia, there are a few other Japanese mining corporations that choose Siberia as their ground of operations. That is due to very cheap electricity and far cheaper cooling fees.
